Thyroid cancer campaign.
Your thyroid is a gland located at the base of your neck, just below your Adam’s apple. It is shaped like a butterfly – each wing, or lobe of your thyroid lies on either side of your windpipe.
This type of cancer can sometimes come back or spread to other parts of the body, even many years later. For this reason, doctors recommend that people who have had thyroid cancer receive routine checkups for the rest of their life to make sure their cancer hasn’t recurred or spread.

The campaign is from the Light of Life Foundation, established by Joan Shey, a patient herself.

The Presidents have created a new world-premiere video based on their new song, “Zero Friction” with the help of Windows Live Expo. Every item featured in the video will be available on Live Expo for sale. All proceeds from the sales will benefit MercyCorps. Planned in under two weeks and completed in under 24 hours, the crop circle had a final diameter of 220 feet. The circle was done in an oat field in Oregon, where it was completely invisible from the road but unmistakable from the sky. The team consisted of 12 people.

Our reader Pedro live in Spain and a couple of weeks ago he witnessed this "phenomenon". Bossaball mixes sports like Volleyball, Beachsoccer and Capoeira with Bossa-Music on a pitch of inflatables and trampolines (a big bouncy arena). Players are showing off juggling the ball. The audience dances around the arena, cheering. It's like one big crazy thing.

Ive just saw great presentation full of inspirations by Freitag Brothers at Golden Drum. I like their story and bags too. I think Ill buy one. No, I know it.

Story by Golden Drum.
1993 Markus & Daniel Freitag were two graphic designers living next
to the truck route in Zurich. There they saw every day hundred of
trucks passing by and they thought it would be nice to have a unique
messenger bag made from one of those dirty 100'000-mile truck
tarpaulins. And because truck tarpaulin is tough and waterproof, the
bag would be tough and waterproof too.

2003 the classic Freitag-bag model "Top Cat" was accepted into the
design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA)

2006 FREITAG distributes its products worldwide through 300
discerning retailers, and to its own F-Shops in Zurich, Davos and
Hamburg.

You can love a brand and hate it at the same time. That's the lesson learned from the latest Greenpeace campaign against Apple.

"We love Apple. Apple knows more about "clean" design than anybody, right? So why do Macs, iPods, iBooks and the rest of their product range contain hazardous substances that other companies have agreed to abandon?" states the Green Apple web page designed to resemble the original Apple page with everything, including even a fake "I'm Mac and I'm a PC" TV ad.
