Jeep made another crazy ad-installation. It caught everyones eye when it scaled up the side of Penn Plaza and parked at the top where a sign exclaimed "Jeep Parking only". Onlookers gawked as the Jeep scaled the entire 30-story skyscraper. You can view a video of the climb at.

No it's not another makeover show. It's a nifty little project that Getty Images is running. Professional and amateur photographers submit photos that inspire you and use it to express an idea that will affect or touch the viewer.
There are the usual third world nation pictures, many clichéd images of change and a few shameless self-promotion photos but there are also some that are unexpectedly beautiful or haunting. It's a great pick-me-up during grey winter days.
Proceeds go to One: Campaign To Make Poverty History.

If you think nothing is being done against sexual abuse and violence, you are wrong.
More and more help becomes available, but if you want to be helped the first step is often the most important one. Break the silence. Talk about it.
From the ages of 6 to 15 Patricia was sexually abused, raped, beaten and battered by her father.
She dared tell no one for many years. The first step wasn't easy for her either, but marked the beginning of a new life and happiness after all. She married William and had two lovely children. Who could ever have thought that? She certainly didn't.
